Heart of Danville honored at 2012 Kentucky Main Street Awards
The Heart of Danville Main Street Program was recognized as a leader and mentor within the Kentucky Main Street Program on Wednesday, January 25 when it received several awards at the 2012 Kentucky Main Street Awards.
The E-News received honorable mention in the "Marketing and Promotion" category. The Heart Board of Directors received the 2012 Award for Best Organization for the strategic planning procecess.
The Kentucky Heritage Council created a new award recognizing the HOD as Kentucky's Program of Excellence. At this exciting event, the Heart was also recognized for its 25th anniversary, one of only two programs in the state to reach that milestone.
Heart of Danville Main Street Program seeks nominations for 2012 Downtown Revitalization Awards
Nominations from the public are sought as the Heart of Danville Main Street Program honors its outstanding local achievements in downtown revitalization the 2012 Annual on February 29.
